History of the Jungle
Between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, just 30 minutes from the International Airport of Cancun, there is a road known as Ruta de los Cenotes. Around this area we still have extensive areas of amazing jungle. We will visit two great birding sites to see a large variety of species such as the Barred Antshrike and endemics like the Yucatan Woodpecker and Yucatan Jay.

Rio Lagartos
The breath-taking Biosphere of Ria Lagartos is well known for the chance to see a great variety of birds and other animals in their natural habitat. Have a stunning boat-ride along the "river", do bird-watching on land trying to find endemics like the Mexican Sheartail and the Yucatan Wren among others.

End of the Road
In the western part of the state Quintana Roo we will be birding in and around a typical village. This half-day tour will take you through amazing and different habitats.
The people live mainly of agri,- and api-culture which makes it a very interesting place to go birding. Bird-watching with a local touch.

Mayan Sites
Located close to Tulum, there are peaceful areas in the surroundings of some wonderful Mayan archeological sites and spectacular mangroves. Enjoy a wonderful morning where you’ll see many birds and, at the same time, will learn more about the history of the great Mayan civilization.

Above & Below
This tour is the perfect combination of birds in their natural habitat combined with a visit to a spectacular cave in the Riviera Maya. In the Yucatan we don’t have normal rivers, but we do have a great variety of wildlife thanks to the underground rivers. Because of these sinkholes we have many different bird species of which some of them even built their nests into these awesome places. Come and join me on this wonderful excursion named; Above & Below.
